Teslim Balogun Stadium
Teslim Balogun Stadium is a multi-use stadium and it is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as a home ground of First Bank F.C. The stadium holds 30,000 people and sits adjacent to the Lagos National Stadium.

By the time the stadium was completed in 2007, it took 23 years to build and cost over N1.3 billion. Started in 1984 but the construction continually stalled under military regimes and the stadium became a white elephant.

The first event held in the stadium was the 18th Mobil Track and Field Athletics Championship on May 17. The first football game was a friendly on May 28 between Enyimba vs. Asante Kotoko. The stadium also hosted the NFL Super Four playoff that season and the Nigerian FA Cup final.

Lagos is the most populous city in Nigeria with the metropolitan area estimated 300 square kilometers. The city is a group of islands endowed with creeks and a lagoon.

Lagos is projected to be one of the world's five largest cities by 2015. Lagos is the economic center of the nation. It is a port city with industries that include railroad repair, motor vehicle assembly, food processing, and the manufacture of metal products, textiles, beverages, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, soap, and furniture.

The city is an old Yoruba town, beginning in the 15th century and grew as a trade center and seaport. From the 1820s until it became a British colony, Lagos was a notorious center of the slave trade. Britain annexed the city in 1861 and 1906, Lagos was joined with the British
